Your guide to public holidays in Bahrain for 2023

The festive season has come and gone and now 2023 is about to get into full swing. But that doesn't mean you can't plan ahead with some holiday plans. 

A nifty way to take advantage of long weekends is to make sure you know exactly when the public holidays are. This way, you can make holiday plans without taking much leave.

We've given you a list of the public holidays so you know exactly when to plan those holidays.

Here is a full list of the public holidays in Bahrain for 2023:

1 January: New Year's Day

21, 22, 23 April:  Eid Al Fitr (Followed by compensatory day offs on 24 and 25 April)

1 May: Labour Day

28, 29, 30 June:  Eid Al Adha (followed by compensatory day of on 2 July)

19 July: Al Hijra New Year

27 and 28 July:  Ashoora (Followed by compensatory day off on 30 July)

27 September: Prophet's birthday

16 and 17 December: National Day (Followed by compensatroy day off on 18 December)
