From country-pop heartbreak to Afrobeats energy, disco grooves and poolside K-pop, summer 2026 has a little something for every mood.
Summer playlists are for the drive, the beach, the pool, the night out and the quiet moment when the sun finally starts to drop. This year’s selection is pleasingly varied, with pop, country, Afrobeats, dance and R&B all fighting for space on the speakers.

1) “Choosin’ Texas” – Ella Langley
The country-pop crossover of the season, this is the one for long drives, open roads and slightly dramatic summer reflection. Big, heartfelt and instantly memorable.

2) “Midnight Sun (Girls Trip)” – Zara Larsson and PinkPantheress
Light, bright and made for warm nights, this is polishedzwith enough bounce to work at brunch, beach clubs or pre-dinner drinks.
3)“Dai Dai” – Shakira and Burna Boy
With World Cup fever adding to the summer atmosphere, this global pop anthem brings rhythm, energy and a sense of celebration.

4)“Raindance” – Dave ft. Tems
Smooth, romantic and understated, this is one for sunset playlists. Dave’s delivery and Tems’ voice make it feel effortlessly cool.

5) “I Just Might” – Bruno Mars
A throwback disco-soul moment that sounds tailor-made for weddings, parties and anyone who misses big, polished feel-good pop.

6) “DANCE…” – Slayyyter
For the late-night crowd, this is glossy, high-energy electropop with enough attitude to lift the pace immediately.
