Bahrain Jewellery Centre Distinguished Timepieces

Founded in 1992, Bell and Ross have been leaders in crafting Swiss-made watches for professional users such as divers and pilots. We explore the French watch brand’s latest collection which we believe is the perfect luxury accessory during the F1 Grand Prix taking place in Bahrain.

THE BR 01 CYBER SKULL BRONZE
After nearly 15 years of existence, the Skull collection has become one of the emblematic signatures of Bell & Ross. Within the Cyber Skull family with avant-garde design, the first ceramic Cyber Skull represented the watch of “bikers” or “pirates”. With its evolving alloy and avant-garde design, the new Cyber Skull Bronze is the perfect combination of watchmaking, design and technology. It features intricate work on the case as well as on the movement. Bewitching and fascinating, avant-garde and disruptive, it will seduce enthusiasts of timepieces with character. Available in a limited edition of 500 pieces, it will particularly appeal to collectors of Haute Horlogerie timepieces.

BR‑X5 ICE BLUE STEEL
Bell & Ross often finds itself at the cutting-edge of innovative watch design, with its impressive range of aviation and aeronautically-inspired timepieces. In Bell & Ross’ latest timepiece, the French/Swiss brand pairs exceptional design with manufacture movement, unveiling the new BR-X5.
Throughout the design a sense of sportiness and practical reliability carry through, these sentiments provided by both its steel construction, as well as its integrated design between the case and matching steel bracelet or open worked rubber strap. Like the case housing it, the dial of the BR-X5 is the product of smart design work, with its style marking a highly refined expression of the original urban instrument shape. Available in two colorways— black and ice blue— each option represents two sides of the brand’s appeal. In the suave black, classic and timeless noir are channeled with bright, sharp accents of red highlighting the look. While in the ice blue, the tasteful spirit of sport and play which has defined the urban BR 05 is on full view.

BR‑X5. CARBON ORANGE (high-tech version)
With its avant-garde and daring design, and attractive functionality, the BR‑X5 symbolises the developments made by the brand to attract connoisseurs and lovers of fine watchmaking. Faithful to its aeronautical heritage, the watch features the household ‘round within the square’ design, which allowed the French-born brand to be easily recognisable since the beginning.
Like the earlier models in steel, the latest BR‑X5. Carbon Orange brings together two functions that are particularly useful in everyday life: an oversized vertical date and the power reserve indicator. This double display, which is as legible as it is distinctive, gives the BR 05 family a unique look while making it instantly recognisable when on the wrist.
At the heart of the case lies one of the major assets of this unique collection - BR-CAL .323. The automatic mechanism belongs to the world of manufacturer movements. The BR-CAL.323 calibre designed by Kenissi, a Swiss specialist movement-maker focused on exclusivity, raises the BR‑X5 to the heights of precision.

THE NEW BR 05 SKELETON GOLDEN
Watchmaker Bell & Ross has become the specialist in aeronautical-inspired watches. However, some of its timepieces take off to other exciting worlds. In 2019, the brand launched the BR 05, a new contemporary family that is evolving while maintaining the House’s DNA. This watch is for urban adventurers.

The Skeleton collection, part of this family, has been a huge success since its introduction. With the open dial revealing its fascinating watch mechanism and details. 2019 marked the launch of the first all-steel Skeleton, which was followed by different variations: the Skeleton Blue in 2020, the NightLum in 2021 and the Skeleton Green in 2022.

The Bell & Ross BR 05 Skeleton once again updates its look with the golden hue of the dial. This new Golden version is both urban and chic. The 40 mm diameter steel case features the iconic ‘round within the square’ design. The flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment is held by the satin-brushed steel bezel, which is fixed by four polished steel slotted screws. This ensures water resistance up to 100 metres. The caseback is fitted with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal allowing the rear of the movement to be seen, with a particular emphasis on the 360° oscillating weight. This is a fine example of craftsmanship and design, since the whole timepiece does not exceed 5.45 mm in thickness.

The BR 05 Skeleton Golden can be presented either with a steel bracelet fitted with a folding clasp, or with a rubber strap. This new timepiece is available in a limited edition of 500 pieces.
