The new Kinder World Preschool provides a warm and enjoyable home-away-from-home learning experience for tiny tots.
The facility, located in New Janabiya, has recently opened its doors to welcome little ones into a fun, nurturing and safe environment to learn, play and grow in.
The school sprawls over 4,645sq/m (50,000sq/ft), making it the largest purpose-built preschool campus in Bahrain at present. It enables children aged 14 months to four years to develop holistically through play-based adult- and child-led activities that are tailored to age-appropriate learning experiences. The preschool follows the Early Years Foundation Stage British Curriculum and incorporates a bilingual Arabic programme for both Bahraini and expatriate children. This promotes a love for learning the Arabic language as well as educating the children about the culture of the Kingdom.
Principal, Lyn Barrie, is a UK-qualified educator with more than two decades of experience in some of the most renowned schools in Bahrain. She leads a team of highly qualified and experienced expat and Bahraini staff who are dedicated and passionate about teaching young children.
At Kinder World, the health and safety of the young learners is of utmost importance. The spacious classrooms are specially designed to be filled with natural light and abundant learning resources, making them welcoming and exciting spaces.
Learning extends beyond the classroom with shaded and open playgrounds, sand and water play areas, mud kitchens, sensory walls and an indoor hall, allowing the children to experience a full day of exploration and play, keeping the island’s weather in mind.
