As demand for online shopping increases amid movement restrictions and safety concerns during the coronavirus pandemic, Carrefour remains at the forefront of ensuring customers have access to their essential grocery items. To better serve its Bahrain customers, the brand, operated in the Kingdom by Majid Al Futtaim, has introduced a mobile shopping app, making over 4,000 products available for purchase from the comfort of shoppers’ homes.
The new app offers a simple, digitised, and convenient mobile experience, ensuring customers can access a wide variety of high-quality products, while safeguarding their health and safety. The added choices also accompany efficient, reliable and timely delivery services, bringing purchased items right to shoppers’ doorsteps.

The application aims to become a driving force within the online marketplace in Bahrain. Currently, the app features items from the store’s grocery and household sections. This offering will gradually be expanded over time to include textiles, light household items and fresh foods.
In addition to the convenience of shopping for quality products from a trusted retailer, customers who register as a MyCLUB member will also enjoy the benefit of earning points for shopping transactions that can later be redeemed in the form of discounts. Existing MyCLUB members must transfer to the new Carrefour app using their previous registration details and create a new password. All their points and vouchers will automatically be migrated to the new app as the old app will be phased out.
The Carrefour Bahrain app is available for download on the Google Play store and the Apple Store for all mobile users
