Professor Sadat A Al-Ali is an American citizen who studied in India, the UK and US. He is a professor of orthopaedic surgery and senior consultant orthopaedic surgeon with 30 years of experience in the field of paediatric orthopaedics, simple and complex trauma, arthroplasty and spinal surgery.
Professor Sadat is well known for performing complex scoliosis surgery with excellent results. At present, he is one of the region’s leading experts in the field of joint replacement surgery, including hip and knee joints. He also performs stem cell therapy in relation to various orthopaedic diseases in Saudi Arabia.
The doctor, additionally, has expertise in the fields of sickle cell disease and metabolic bone diseases, such as vitamin D deficiency and osteoporosis. He is one the experts throughout the GCC and has written many papers on the subject which have gained him worldwide respect.
He has written a book on orthopaedic management, published more than 170 papers and presented at various international meetings.
Many of his former students and residents are renowned physicians and surgeons in the Middle East.

Professor Sadat has been nominated for the King Faisal Prize for Medicine on the topic of bone biology and osteoporosis for the year 2019.
