Summer is, quite literally, just getting warmed up with temperatures slowly but surely soaring in Bahrain. With us having to stay indoors even more, we’ve had a chance to get creative in the kitchen and come up with healthy and refreshing recipes.
With mangoes currently in season, and a host of them available on the market, we tried our twist on the classic smoothie bowl and… it was such a treat!
3 cups ripe mangoes, diced and previously frozen
1 ripe nectarine, cored and sliced
1 banana, sliced
1 box of blueberries
1 tbsp shredded coconut
1 tsp chia seeds
2 tbsps honey
Fresh mint leaves to garnish.
