Everybody’s favourite, Wembley Lounge at the Atiram Premier Hotel in Juffair welcomes the World Cup with a brand-new manager and executive sous chef on its team.
Change is in the air at Atiram Premier Hotel’s Wembley Lounge. New manager, Tony Curtis, and executive sous chef, Rajeev Sharma, will be at the helm of food and beverage affairs at the popular nightspot. They have been at the premises for several weeks already to get a feel for the place and gear up to welcome patrons for Eid and the World Cup this month.
Tony has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality and entertainment industry in the UK. He says: “I can’t wait to reopen after Ramadan. Lots of exciting new promotions will be happening in our food and beverage operations. Working alongside chef Rajeev is going to be so exciting.”
Rajeev has a wealth of experience behind him, having already worked in some of Bahrain’s top hotel kitchens.
When the lounge opens its doors after Ramadan, it will be the first thrilling game of the World Cup between the host nation, Russia, and Bahrain’s neighbour, Saudi Arabia. Football fans can catch every single game of the series live on the big screens at Wembley’s bar, with food and beverages served throughout the matches.
Atiram Premier’s famous Friday brunch will restart on June 22 and is touted to be the biggest party in Bahrain, where you can truly let your hair down and have a rollicking time.
