Pre-school education is vitally important for child development, and New Zing Kindergarten is leading the way with children at pre-KG, KG2 and KG3 ages currently being accepted for this year. We spoke to Principal, Rosemarie Abraham, to learn more.
“Teaching is not just a profession, but a passion for me,” says Mrs Abraham, encapsulating the ethos with which she has run New Zing Kindergarten since 2010.
In an amazing career, she has been working with children between the ages of 18 months and six years old for the last 40 years. She was a teacher in the Kingdom prior to opening the kindergarten, but felt like her calling was with younger children where she could mould their tender minds in the best possible manner.
She explains: “The way each child adds to your experience in their own different way is amazing. You learn something new every day when you are with them. The difference we have made is echoed by every parent who comes back to thank us not just for the knowledge learnt, but also for the love and care their children receive while with us.
“Our programme is constantly evolving to incorporate new teaching and learning methods and techniques as children’s needs change. We also feature extensive extra-curricular activities which enrich the learning experience and hence our children engage in Art, Craft, Music and Dance sessions every day. Outdoor field trips for educational and entertainment purposes are conducted as well.”
